Overview

We are pleased to announce the availability of Time & Attendance version 8.51.0.1.

This is a scheduled maintenance release focused entirely on system optimisation and underlying stability improvements. This patch directly replaces version 8.51.0.0.

Because this release is dedicated to under-the-hood enhancements, there are no new consumer-facing features or workflow changes introduced in this version.

Customer raised issues

Below you will find details of the customer raised issues resolved and included in this release:

TA-15617

Running reports using the Excel export option fails.

Resolved the issue preventing report export via the Excel option; users can now successfully generate and export reports in Excel format.

TA-15634

Hours Approval on the Web does not display leavers from previous periods.

Leavers are now displayed in the Hours Approval list

TA-15608

Processor encounters an out-of-memory error when handling large jobs, causing processing failures.

Added a compiler flag to enable the 32-bit application to address additional memory, increasing the available memory to 3 GB on 32-bit servers and 4 GB on 64-bit servers, thereby mitigating out-of-memory issues during large jobs.

TA-14334

The employee restart process uses an incorrect badge number when the "Change badge number with reference number" option is enabled.

Resolved the issue where an incorrect badge number was used during the employee restart process when the "Change badge number with employee reference" option was enabled.

TA-14116

Users are unable to modify standard hours on a shift through the web application.

Manual changes made to standard hours on the web are now saved and will not be lost, even if control times are edited afterward

TA-12644

The T&A application experiences startup failures due to a SQL query taking an excessive amount of time to execute.

Added robust error handling and removed an unnecessary SQL query, improving application startup performance and preventing startup failures caused by long-running database operations.
