Managing your Identity Service

As a system administrator, you will have access to the OneAdvanced Identity application to manage your organisation settings and user base:

  • As part of OneAdvanced Identity you will have access to a centralised application platform that is used by system administrators to manage your Identity service.
  • You will need to nominate a System Administrator for OneAdvanced Identity within your organisation. The administrator is required for onboarding to take place. They will be the first person to get access to your Identity Service platform and the administrator controls for your OneAdvanced Identity service.
  • It is advisable to create additional administrators who will also be given access to your Identity Service platform and OneAdvanced Identity administrator controls.
  • Having reviewed the OneAdvanced Identity features, you should also consider how you want to configure your OneAdvanced Identity Organisation. This will determine your security and login flow for Time and Attendance web/mobile app. You may find this Admins section helpful.
User Acceptance Testing

When user acceptance testing (UAT) OneAdvanced Identity, it is recommended that you test a subset of employees. Any employees you do not want to UAT should have their email address removed before you synchronise their employee record with OneAdvanced Identity. This approach will limit the amount of data cleansing you need to carry out to support UAT.

Note that the Email Summary and Synchronization Status will reflect all users and not just those targeted for UAT.

OneAdvanced recommend you cleanse your data including employee and manager records during UAT to ensure the full dataset meets the pre-requisites before your planned go-live date.
