Louise Whalley Updated by Louise Whalley

We are pleased to announce the latest release of Time and Attendance: Version 8.46.0.0 released 15th October 2025

Below you will find details of the enhancements and bug fixes for this release.

For instructions on how to upgrade your installation of Time and Attendance, please take a look at our Upgrade guide by clicking here.

Enhancements

User enrolment PINS available in Time & Attendance

What have we done?

We allow the user PINS for enrolment on Smart Biometric Clocks to be viewed from Time and Attendance.

Why have we done this?

To improve the user journey by allowing the PIN to be accessed in T&A without the need to log into the Device and Access Manager web portal.

How will you benefit?

This change reduces the need to navigate two systems when creating and enrolling a new employee at the Smart Biometric Clock.

Details of the change

The User enrolment PINS have previously been made available in the Device and Access Manager Web Portal, this information is now passed into Time & Attendance using the field TMSEMP.DeviceEnrolPIN.

This field will need to be manually added to any panels they are required on, and visibility set for the users and employees as required.

There will be a Device and Access Manager Web Portal release to support this change from the 5th November, along with an upgrade to PeopleConnect, which you will need to upgrade along with Time & Attendance. Release notes will be available on the 5th November.

Enhancements to Identity.

We have listened to user feedback and made a number of enhancements to Identity. Full details are listed below:

Full documentation to Support Identity is available here.

Identity ID added to Synchronisation logs

What have we done?

We have introduced the user Identity ID against the records shown in the time & attendance Identity synchronisation logs.

Why have we done this?

To simplify the Identity administration when referencing a user account in Identity that has been synchronised from time & attendance.

How will you benefit?

As an administrator of Identity, you will be able to quickly and accurately identify the user account associated with the employee/supervisor record.

Details of the change.

We’ve enhanced the Employees and Users Sync Status view to include a new column "Advanced ID". This update allows users to see the Identity Advanced ID directly in the sync log. With this, Administrators can easily identify and troubleshoot any issues that occur during the sync process between systems.

Sync with Identity flag against employee records

What have we done?

We have introduced a "sync with identity" flag against an employee record.

Why have we done this?

To allow you to control which employees are synchronised with Identity.

How will you benefit?

During UAT, it is likely that you will only need to synchronise a sub set of employees to Identity. By enabling "Sync flagged employees only" and flagging the employees you wish to synchronise with Identity, you can control which users are created in Identity.

Details of the change.

Under 'Identity Configuration', the option has been added to control which employees will be synced with Identity.

This flag will work in conjunction with the OAISync column value in the TMSEMP table.

  • If 'Sync flagged employees only' under Identity Configurations is ticked:
    • For an employee record, if 'Include in OAI Sync' is ticked, the employee record will be synced with Identity.
    • For an employee record, if 'Include in OAI Sync' is unticked, the employee record will not be synced with Identity.
  • If 'Sync flagged employees only' under Identity Configurations is not ticked, all employee records will be synced with Identity, regardless of whether 'Include in OAI Sync' is ticked or unticked.

Allow Sync for users without email address

What have we done?

We have introduced a "Allow sync without email" flag within the time & attendance Identity onboarding process.

Why have we done this?

To allow you to synchronise employee records without an email with Identity.

How will you benefit?

For those employees for whom you do not hold an email address, you can now create user accounts in Identity based on their employee ID and your customer domain name (e.g. 12345@customer.com).

Details of the change.

A new field, "Allow Sync without Email", has been added to the OneAdvanced Identity onboarding page in T&A. This allows the use of Identity for employees who don’t have an email address, enabling them to access T&A without an email address.

  • Employees without an email address will sync to Identity and can log in using only their Username (EmpRef).
  • Employees with an email address will sync to Identity and can log in using either their Username or Email

For Supervisor:

Option to Retry failed syncs

What have we done?

We have introduced a "Retry failed syncs" option within the time & attendance Identity onboarding screen.

Why have we done this?

To give you the option to resend all employee/supervisor records that have previously been flagged as failed during the synchronisation process.

How will you benefit?

Should there be a problem during the synchronisation process, and a number of employee/supervisor records fail to synchronise, this process will allow you to rerun the synchronisation process for these records again.

Details of the change.

A new button, "Retry Failed Syncs", has been added. This allows you to reset failed sync attempts and retry syncing the records that previously failed.
