This article will provide an overview of the main areas of Auto-Rostering as they appear in the application for an Employee, and will also offer additional links to further documentation that will delve deeper into specific areas.

Trades Available - This tab shows you any jobs you have that are available for you to trade

You can read more detail of the functionality available on the Dashboard here

Scheduler

The Scheduler opens up your schedule. You can choose to look at Day, Week or Month and can view details of each job by clicking into the Job.

Job Offer

Job Offers provides you with a view of any open Job offers from other employees. You can choose to Accept or Reject these offers.

Trade Board

The Trade board allows you to offer jobs you have been assigned to other employees. Read more detail here covering the Trade board.

Absence Calendar

You can view your absences you have submitted and have been approved within Time & Attendance here in Auto-Rostering.

Note: You will continue to submit any Absence request through Time & Attendance, the Absence Calendar is just a way for you view against your schedule, it is also used to ensure you are not assigned to a job if you have an absence approved on a specific da and are therefor not available to be scheduled.

On this page, you will see a calendar that displays your current Absences, including both pending and approved Absences. A pending Absence is one that has not yet been approved by a manager.

An Absence also has an Absence Code that is chosen when booking an Absence. These separate different Absences from one another for different reasons. For example, an Absence might be for an employee's annual leave entitlement, or it may be a volunteer day – these would be two separate Absence Codes.

You can choose to view Absences by Code or by Status by using the toggle in the top right-hand corner of the page, and set what date range you want to view your absence calendar by.
