Deactivate and Reactivate the terminal webpage

Karishma Updated by Karishma

The ability to deactivate the terminal webpage has been added to firmware version 7.48.5.1 in response to concerns about the theoretical security risk of running PHP version 5.6.38 which is used to power the terminal webpage.

Once the firmware has been updated log into the terminal by entering its IP address into any browser on a PC on the local network.Enter the daily MFUTIL PIN (call Advanced support to obtain this).

Click Web server

Click Disable then OK to confirm.

The terminal will now reboot, and the webpage will be unavailable. PHP will not be running.

To reactivate the terminal webpage, you will need physical access to the clock or Access unit in question.  In the case of an Access unit, you will need to connect an engineer's keyboard to access the settings.

For a clock Press and hold F1, F2 and 2 for 8-10 seconds until the clock reboots.
