Overview

We are pleased to announce the availability of Time & Attendance version 8.51.2.0.

This is a scheduled maintenance release focused on system optimisation and underlying stability improvements, including customer raised issues.

Customer raised issues

Below you will find details of the customer raised issues resolved and included in this release:

TA-10462

Having two sessions open editing different employees can cause incorrect employee details to overwrite

Submit now cannot be clicked if the resulting action would overwrite another employees details, and clicking cancel returns to the dashboard correctly

TA-12823

Anomalies screen is slow to load

Improvements made to the anomaly loading functions, showing a positive change in load time

Info Widget: Image does not centre correctly

Styling changes now cause the image to centre correctly

TA-13943

Platform App: Clock IN and OUT buttons do not respect the "Web clocking" setting in employee profiles

The setting that controls clocking on the web (labelled Web Clocking) is now respected. Previously the buttons would be shown, but performed no function without this preference being set

TA-15698

Save view in T&A Web does not save the MATCH expression

When dealing with multiple selection criteria the search can either match all required fields, or any required fields. This can result in substantially different selections - the preference is now saved correctly to prevent this

TA-15701

Enrolment PIN field is inadvertently overwritten with a blank value

The enrolment is sent via an API to T&A from Device and Access Manager. If an employee is being edited at the time this happens, and save is clicked, the PIN Is overwritten with a blank. This has now been prevented from happening by reading the most up to date PIN value as the user presses save

TA-15705

Build enroller not available when Identity is enabled

In Identity setups the Build Enroller option cannot be found, despite being enabled. Licence checks have been modified in the Identity login functions to ensure the option is available if licenced for it

TA-15713

Planned Shifts: Users set as "Read Only" on the self access tab can edit their own shifts (Web)

The correct security check has now been applied to the Planned Shifts page, ensuring supervisors with read-only access can no longer make edits to their planned shifts
